		Webindia Internet Services, a leading Laravel and PHP development company in India, was engaged to architect, develop, and deploy a comprehensive digital platform to automate the entire sullage tanker booking and management workflow. What began as a metropolitan-scale solution for Chennai was subsequently re-engineered into a state-wide platform capable of serving the entire Tamil Nadu government administrative hierarchy. 		
	

Project Background

The Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB) faced a critical operational challenge  managing and dispatching sullage (sewage) tankers across a rapidly growing metropolitan region with no unified digital infrastructure. Manual coordination between consumers, area engineers, and tanker drivers was creating service delays, revenue leakage, and zero transparency for end users.

Challenges

		Before Webindia’s intervention, CMWSSB’s sullage operations were fragmented, opaque, and unscalable. Three critical challenges defined the brief for our PHP and Laravel development team

Solution

We delivered a multi-stakeholder ecosystem comprising three mobile applications (Android & iOS) and two web portals, utilizing a high performance tech stack (Flutter for hybrid apps, Laravel for backend, MySQL for database).

		The system passed rigorous User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Security Audits (VAPT) to meet government data safety standards.		
	

Outcome & Impact

The solution was officially launched by the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and has been running successfully in the Chennai region with stable performance. The platform architecture was also redesigned to support large-scale data and enable future expansion across the state.
