1975 S&S Power Switchgear incorporated. Promoted by Mr.A.R.Santhanakrishnan, 
     Mr.V.Srinivasan and Mr.N.S.Sethuraman. Commercial production of HRC 
     Fuses commenced in collaboration with BRUSH FUSEGEAR.

1978 High Voltage disconnecting switches introduced in collaboration with
     SOUTHWALES SWITCHGEAR.

1981 MV Vacuum Switchgear introduced for the 1st time in India in collaboration 
     with BRUSH SWITCHGEAR. As part of collaboration proposal, HAWKER SIDDELEY 
     SWITCHGEAR received 160,000 equity shares (25% of equity capital).

1985 Launched MV SF6 Circuit Breakers in technical collaboration with SOUTHWALES
     SWITCHGEAR.

1986 Porcelain Clad Outdoor Vacuum Circuit Breakers for 11/33 kV developed 
     and introduced in the market.

1988 HAWKER SIDDELEY disinvests is shares of S&S.

1989 Introduced Miniature Circuit Breakers in collaboration with AEG Germany.

1990 Original promoters disinvest their holdings in favour of JALAN Group.

1992 S&S took over RPIL, a Company engaged in the manufacture of  Brakes & 
     Signalling Equipment. 
 
    S&S Power Corporation Sdn.Bhd. incorporated in Association with TOPRANK  
     CORPORATION SDN. BHD in Malaysia for assembly of MV Switchgear.

1994 S&S Capital restructured to meet New Growth Plans. New developments in 
     MV switchgear like Horizontal Drawout CBs-11/33 Vacuum Auto Reclosure.

1995 S&S restructured its organisation to improve its Customer Orientation.
