The Tamil Nadu Foundation, Inc. (TNF) was formed in 1974 as a token of gratitude to the land of our birth. It has two sets of objectives, first, to unite all tamils of the world and second, to channel this unity to help and to educate the needy everywhere, particularly in Tamil Nadu.
TNF has accomplished several things so far in furtherance of its objectives. Many health related activities have been initiated in Tamilnadu; schools were aided and built; drinking water facilities were established; scholorships were given; famine and drought reliefs were undertaken; the plight of Sri Lankan tamils were addressed; and all other social issues were taken up in many areas.
In spite of these achievements, we have a lot to do. Each one of us should ask what kind of contribution we have made individually to promote the goal of TNF.
