Kartik Fine Arts is a premier culturl organisation in Chennai, dedicated to Music,Dance & Drama. It was inaugurated in 1975. We conduct KODAI NADAGA VIZHA every year for about 8 days in the month of May/June. We also conduct Talent Promotion Concerts every year in the months of July, August & October, sponsored by M/sLalgudi Trust.
Kartik Fine Arts confers the title ISAI PEROLI on young musicians during the art festival. A golden medallion with cash award of Rs.15,000/- is also given to the awardee. The Ar Festival includes music programmes(both seniors & juniors), dances & Harikatha Upanyasams.
After the Art Festival, there is the Dance Festival. Kartik Fine Arts confers the title NADANAMAMANI every year to an eminent artist in the field of Dance. This award sponsored by Shriram Trust, carries a gold medallion, a sum of Rs.15,000/- & a citation. We also conduct Pattimanram, Amudhasurabhi & Mathioli Book Release functions every year as part of the Art Festival activities to quench the thirst of book/literature lovers.
