S.P.Ramh is one of the prime disciples of Padmasri Lalgudi
Sri G.Jayaraman. He is a regular performer in reputed musical organisations
throughout the country. His concerts have won the hearts of rasikas
& connoisseurs alike. The Bharat Kalachar of Madras conferred
the prestigious title "YUVA KALA BHARATHI" on Ramh in the year 1996.
His concerts & recordings are frequently broadcast by All Indias Radio
& Doordarshan. During the December Margazhi Music Festival in
Chennai, Music Academy, Sri Krishna Gana Sabha, Mylapore Fine Arts Club,
Kartik Fine Arts, Tamil Isai Sangam, Nungambakkam Cultural Academy, Indian
Fine Arts Society features his concerts every year. He has toured
the USA & Canada in 1994 on concert engagements & as lead singer
in the operatic Ballet JAYA JAYA DEVI conceived & composed by his guru
Padmasri Lalgudi Sri G.Jayaraman. He is also a talented VEENA ARTISTE
hailing from a family of Veena musicians. His father Sri.R. Shankaran
& mother Smt. S.Kalyani are veena artists & disciples of his grandfather
Veena Vidwan Sri.G.N.Dhandapani, Retired Staff artist, All India Radio,
Chennai. He has also been receiving training in veena from his guru
Padmasri Lalgudi Sir. His programmes have been recorded & released
by reputed recording companies like AVM Audio, HMV, Sangeetha, Inreco,
Kalavardini.

he has rendered "Paraathparaa" in Vachaspathi by Papanasam Sivan, "Innuthaya
Bharathe" in Kalyana Vasantham by Purandaradasa, "Shri Jagadeeswari" in
Aahir Bhairav by Lalgudi G.Jayaraman alongwith 6 other numbers.

NEYVELI R.SANTHANAGOPALAN
Neyveli Santhanagopalan was born to Sri M.S.Ramanathan
& Smt Jayalakshmi Ammal, is recognised for his tradition bound rendering.
He had his initial training from Late. Chembai C.S.Anandan, a nephew of
Late. Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavathar & from Srirangam R.Ranganathan.
However, Santhanagopalan's talent flowered & flourished with the Gurukula
training under the famed Vocalist Madurai T.N.Seshagopalan.
Santhanagopalan had his debut at the age of 10 &
has been performing for the prime slots of most sabhas in India & abroad.
An 'A' grade artiste of AIR, Chennai. He runs 'Gurukrupa', a music school
in Chennai.
Also adept with playing Veena, Mrudangam & Khanjira,
he has lectured on music & its appreciation. USSR, USA & Reunion
Islands are some of the countries that he has visited giving concerts.
He is a recipient of many awards including the 'ISAI PEROLI' by the Karthik
Fine Arts Sabha of Chennai in 1993.

SANGEETHA SIVAKUMAR
Hailed as a very promising musician, twenty-five year
old Sangeetha Sivakumar had her initial training under K.P.Vasu of Calicut
for over six years. Further, she had her advanced training under well-known
vocalist Smt.Charumathy Ramachandran.
Born of Sulochana & Sivakumar of Madras, incidentally
she is the grand niece of Sri.S.V.Krishanswamy, I.C.S. of Chennai. Acclaimed
as a very talented musician, Sangeetha is endowed with a melifluous sruthi
aligned voice. She has been performing in major Sabhas all over India.
She is the recipient of many prizes & awards including
the All India AIR Music Competition Award in which she stood first.

Miss. S.Gayathri has given laudable public performances
since her childhood. She learnt from the well known Carnatic Music teacher
Sri.Vaigai S.Gnanaskandan & is a disciple of him since she was 14 years
of age.
Her unique style of rendering kritis has attracted music
lovers of all musical tastes & inclinations. Even at such a tender
age she has won many prizes from the "INDIAN FINE ARTS SOCIETY" continuously
for 3 years - 1988,1989 & 1990. She has to her credit prestigious prizes
like the "G.N.B.Kritis", "Oothukadu Venkatasubbair Kritis", "Tyagaraja
Kritis" & many other prizes. She is a graded artiste of AIR.

by Ambujam Krishna, "Dasarathe" in Thodi by Tyagaraja, "Sri Valli" in Natabhairavi

S.Janaki, a popular Tamil Cinema play back singer has
also rendered several devotional songs. In this disc she has rendered 9
