Lucknow has to its credit a number of reputed educational institutes like Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI), Central Institute for Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP), National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI), Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indian Toxicological Research Centre and the University of Lucknow.
