Bird's Eye View of Hiranandani Gardens

Powai Hill (Mumbai High)
The majestic Powai Hill covers the South-East flank of Hiranandani gardens. This Hill is 2000m in length and has average width of 400m. From the base height of 58m it rises upto the height of 209 m above MSL. The highest point in this hill range is Point-209, which is also the highest point above Mean Sea Level in Mumbai.

In the last 3 years, under a  mass afforestation program, 3.0 lakh trees of more than 30 varieties like Neem, Teak, Jamun, Peepal, Banyan, Sheesham, Tamarind etc. have been planted. A walk along the ridge line provides a breath taking panoramic view that extends upto Thane Creek in the East, Bandra/Worli in the South, Sahar/Santacruz airport and Juhu/Madh Island in the West and National Park in the North.

The Hill with its rich flora and fauna is a bird watcher's delight and the hiker's dream come true. A Go-Kart racing track at the base of the Hill has enhanced the attraction of the Powai Hill.
