Timeshare is a legal arrangement which permits the purchaser to own and use a certain time slot,say 1-7 June, in a particular holiday apartment, villa, chalet or lodge, every year for the next 66 years. On a payment of an annual consolidated maintenance fee, your chosen apartment, at your time slot, will be kept free and ready for your occupation, without any further payment. So your holiday for the next 66 years are entirely free of accomodation expenses. And you pay for it at todays price. For the rest of the year the same apartment will be used by other holidaymakers, under identical terms and conditions. The maintenance and service expenses of these properties thus divided into many small units and shared by many people.That is why your financial commitment to the property is so ridiculously small. Does it mean that you get stuck with vacationing at the same place every year for the rest of your life? No way. Timeshare is a very flexible concept. It adjusts to everybodys needs and compulsions. And be available to you for exchange programmes. HOW DOES THE EXCHANGE PROGRAMME WORK? It works entirely in your favour. The Village, Bangalore,is your original investment unit. If in any particular year you wish to go somewhere else, the RCI affiliation literally opens up the world for you. The Village is affiliated to the Resorts Condominiums International. The world's premier holiday club, RCI gives you access to their over 3000 franchises in 80 countries, 54 of them in India. The holiday exchange programme is a highly sophisticated, technology intensive scheme, using the latest developments in the worldwide computer network. For efficiency and simplicity of operation, we offer three categories of time slots for you to choose from to suit every budget and family requirement. RED - These are the 7 day time slots during the peak seasons. You pay a little more, but you can exchange it with any other slot in the year - red, white or blue. WHITE - Moderately priced, these slots are just before and after the peak seasons, in case you do not wish to be crowded by the tourist rush or your family schedules are more amenable to these periods. You can exchange these slots with only other white or blue slots. BLUE - This is a budget package that lets you enjoy peace and privacy at all the recreational and other facilities at our resort because the season is over and all the holiday makers have long gone home. You can exchange these with other blue slots only. Your own time slot, say 1-7 June is always available to you, for the next 66 years. But if you cannot avail of your assigned week, you can exchange it with other locations or slots, as per our plans. All exchange of time and place are subject to a minimum of 45 day notice and the availability of your particular type of accomodation at your desired location and needs confirmation. Naturally. You want to be sure that everything is ready and waiting for you when you arrive. There is a small handling charge for each exchange.
