You can check the availability of domains, which are having extensions like (.com or .net) at http://www.networksolutions.com/en_US/whois/index.jhtml. Domains like .in can be checked at http://www.inregistry.in/whois_search/ and domains such as (.co.uk) can be checked at http://www.easily.co.uk/
How do we renew our domain?

How to check our mails through web based interface?
If your Pop3 server is mail2.webindia.com, you can check your mails through web-based interface at http://mail3.webindia.com/ with the given username and password. If your Pop3 server is mail4.webindia.com, you can check your mails through web-based interface at http://webmail4.webindia.com/ with the given username and password.

You can search the mails based on date, subject, body, status (seen, important, answered, etc.) in any number of selected folders.

You have an option to forward your mails to another e-mail id and also you can setup an auto responder e-mail reply.

i) You can import/export addresses from/to other mail clients.

Steps to create filters \ blacklist follows:
- Click the option icon at the top frame
- Select Filters option
- Click the link "edit my filter rules"
- You can create filters based on the e-mail id / subject/ body
- You can also filter the e-mails based on the e-mail id/Subject/Body and move to different folders.
- If you are not interested in getting the e-mail from the concerned person, check that e-mail and click the blacklist link.
- That e-mail id will be added to the filter.
Steps to delete e-mail, based on the filters follows:
Click on the "Apply Filter" icon next to the Refresh INBOX icon in the mailbox view to filter all undeleted messages according to the specified rules. Or, alternatively, check the options "Apply filter rules upon logging on” and "Apply filter rules when mailbox is refreshed” and click Save Options. So that whenever you login or refresh your mailbox, filter will be applied automatically.

When deleting messages, you have an option to move them to your Trash folder instead of marking them as deleted. - Maintenance Operations
Customize maintenance operations run upon login. You can clear the mails in sent-mail and Trash folder automatically based on the period selected by you. - Display Options

How to configure my e-mail account in Outlook Express?
- Open Outlook Express
- Go to Tools, Accounts, Click Mail TAB
- Click ADD, Mail. (You will get Internet connection Wizard)
- Type your company Name and click Next
- Type your email address (xyz@webindia.com) and Click Next
- Select Pop3, Type incoming mail server as (server name as given to you i.e. mail2.webindia.com or mail4.webindia.com) and outgoing mail server as (server name as given to you i.e. mail2.webindia.com or mail4.webindia.com) and click next.
- Type account name (user name given to you) and password (password given to you) and click next.
- Click Finish and then close.
- Go to Tools, send & receive and click the account you have created.
- Now your mails will be downloaded in the inbox folder.
- Open Outlook Express.
- Go to Tools, send & receive and click the account you have created.
- Now your mails will be downloaded in the inbox folder.
- In the outlook express go to tools
- Select the account
- Click the mail tab
- Click properties
- Go to servers tab
- Give the outgoing SMTP server as mail2.webindia.com / mail4.webindia.com
- Check the option "My server requires authentication"
- Click settings
- Select the radio button "Log on using"
- Give the username and password assigned.
How to configure my e-mail account in Netscape?
Steps to create a profile:
Once the profile is created, whenever you want to download the mail follow the following steps:
- Install Netscape Communicator.
- Click Start, Programs, Netscape Communicator, Utilities, User Profile Manager.
- In "Profile Manager", Click New.
- Click Next in "Creating a New Profile"
- For Full Name - Type your Name Email address - Type the email id given to you (e.g. xyz@webindia.com) and click next.
- In profile Name type name (any name) and click next.
- Type mail2.webindia.com / mail4.webindia.com and click next
- Type the user name as the Mail server user Name and mail2.webindia.com / mail4.webindia.com as the Incoming Mail server and select Pop3, click next.
- Ignore news and click Finish.
- Now Netscape window will be opened in that click Communicator, Messenger.
- Click Get Msg.
- Type the password given to you.
- Now your mails will get downloaded.
Once the profile is created, whenever you want to download the mail follow the following steps:
- Click start, programs, Netscape communicator, and Netscape navigator
- Netscape window opens, In that click Communicator, Messenger.
- Click get message.
- Type the password given to you.
- Your mails will start downloading
How to send mail through your mail server?
Our SMTP Server mail2.webindia.com / mail4.webindia.com has been setup with authentication. So you will have to use your username and password for outgoing mail server. If you use mail2.webindia.com / mail4.webindia.com for spamming or mass mailing, your account will be terminated.
While sending mails through your mail server, I am getting an error message as "Relaying denied / IP name lookup failed”?
The error message can be caused since the ISP's IP address you are coming from cannot be resolved to a name or you are not logging to SMTP server with user id and password.
Check whether you have checked the option my server requires authentication in your outlook express for the account you have created.

Can you kindly test in the dos prompt the following commands?
telnet mail2.webindia.com 25 and telnet mail2.webindia.com 110 (or)
telnet mail4.webindia.com 25 and telnet mail4.webindia.com 110
However telnet to port 25 (send mail) or pop3 (110) should work.
If that doesn't work, first to check if there is reachability problem to our network, try ping and tracert to 204.176.140.1 which is in the same network as mail2/mail4 and accepts these requests. If that works fine then please send the date/time and the IP address from which you tried pop3/smtp to mail2/mail4.
Please note that ping and tracert to mail2.webindia.com / mail4.webindia.com won't work because we have blocked it our firewall.
Also kindly check with your local ISP whether there is any problem in their network.

Mail bounced back with the error message "The following addresses had permanent fatal errors”?
If you get the above error message problem is with the e-mail id you are trying to send to. This we will be able to explain in detail on seeing the header part of the bounced mail. Kindly send the header part of the bounced mail to our Webmaster.
Mails bounced back with the error message as "Reverse IP lookup failed”?
This check is always there. You will have to work with your ISP to have reverse lookup for your IP. If you cannot resolve with your ISP, then we can configure our server to accept mails from this IP address if it is static one.
How can I know the usage of my mailbox?
you reached the 80% of the mail quota, you will get an alert mail from Webmaster.
I have deleted all my mails, but still I am getting an alert mail from Webmaster saying that I have exceeded the mail quota?
After deleting the mails in web-based interface, click the link purge deleted only then mails will be deleted permanently from the server.
I receive Spam mails, what should I do?
We have already installed Spam filter in our mail server.
If you still get Spam mails, which are slipping through our current filter then it should be reported to spam cop. Refer to http://www.spamcop.net/anonsignup.shtml. There are link named "What do I need to know to get started reporting Spam?" which will help in identifying which mails are Spam.
Or else you can filter the unwanted mails using blacklist / filter option in web based interface at http://mail3.webindia.com/ or http://webmail4.webindia.com/

How do we do FTP to your server?
You will have to use FTP client like Smart FTP, Cute FTP or WS_FTP to upload the files. Smart FTP is freeware software. You can download the same at http://www.smartftp.com/.

- There are two windows in Cute FTP/WS_FTP, the left one is to show the current directories and drives available on YOUR computer. The right window is to show the remote server directory.
- Before transferring the file, choose ASCII if the file is just a html file; choose binary if the file is either a program or a graphics file. Now you can highlight the file you want to put in the server on the left hand side and click the arrow button pointing to the right to transfer the file to the remote server.
How do we change our FTP password?
