The Group has a global network with offices in the USA, the UK, Russia, Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong and is one of the major exporters from India. As part of its corporate strategy, the group has identified Software and Agro based industries as thrust areas for growth and development.

In this direction, the Group has acquired a modern, contemporary plant in Southern India for the manufacture of starch derivatives and natural sweeteners .

DSQ Biotech Ltd operates an integrated bio-technology complex in technical collaboration with Starcosa GmbH, Germany ,and uses processes based on the latest developments in enzyme engineering to manufacture products of international quality. By making use of the core product range manufactured in its Biotech plant, ambitious plans have been drawn up to get into value added products such as fructose syrup, table top sweeteners, dessert toppings, ready-to-eat snack foods, confectionery products and nutrient beverages.

It is also setting up a corn based starch plant in technical collaboration with Raisio, Finland.

DSQ Biotech Limited has one of the largest plants in South East Asia, to manufacture food grade Tapioca starch and starch derivatives. Products manufactured by DSQ Biotech Ltd are used in Food, Confectionery, Pharma, Paper and Textile Industries in India and abroad.

DSQ Beverages Limited, a grain based distillery would be operational by end 1997 and will produce extra neutral alcohol (ENA) of international quality.

DSQ is also into Granite exports, especially for monuments to USA and other European markets under DSQ Granites Limited.

Square D Textiles and Exports Limited, another group company, is engaged in the manufacture and marketing of cotton yarn, from its factory in South India.

DSQ Industries Limited is now in the process of setting up a wheat gluten/Sorbitol plant, again in South India, with technical collaboration from Finland.

The Home Products Division of DSQ Biotech Limited manufactures and markets a basket of value added food products of international quality. HONEYGOLD is pure, natural premium honey procured from the slopes of the Himalayas, processed, packed and marketed by the division.
